I managed to finish my sermon in time for services yesterday, even though the printer was not cooperating at first. It was one of the all written out ones versus notes & improv. Today was the Noon Service led by Faith for All at HDS. Spoke with my advisor today, and the PhD program at BU is being crossed off the list. Right now, BC's combined MSW/MA in Pastoral Ministry is leading the list, with other Boston programs on it's heels. The non-Boston programs under consideration - MSW programs at Smith, Univ. I love my advisor. Can I just say that for the record? He has once again proven himself amazing. I think he's a spiritual director in disguise, but sssshhh, don't tell anyone. I love that I can come to him with spiritual problems, emotional drama, or actual academic concerns and he always manages to step up to the plate and help me deal with it. ( Read more... )

I managed to wake up early (5:45 instead of 5:00 but not bad), took a final look at my sermon before printing it an then attacked my lecture outline.
